Picked up a DOD FX50B Overdrive Plus. Wow! Really?

Man I couldn't believe this pedal is this good for bass. It really only has a couple of good tones for bass but the ones it does, sound great. With the gain all the way up to Boost and the tone down all the way the sound is super thick and cutting that immediately inspired me to play like Meshuggah on the low B. I was loving it! The low gain setting worked pretty good too. Like a consistent breakup. Not particularly dynamic like some boutique pedals but a good sound none the less. It's noisy because of all the gain and would really need a Boss Noise suppressor in FX loop mode to tighten it up for Meshuggah type stuff but I think it would be deadly for that style of heavy music. I also ran some compression on my amp.

The best part is they can be found really cheap. (I paid $39 shipped) Just a heads up to you guys, if you find one of these cheap, it's not just a guitar pedal. It has real lows and can sound great on Bass.

These ones: I got the 90's one.

Can you compare it to any other pedal?? Maybe like a OCD? I saw that John_K built one of these and it sounds awesome! I really liked the tone he had coming out of it. Im thinking of grabbing one, I found a good deal on one just now.
