Pickguard advice for BBP35

Hey all. I just picked up a midnight blue Yamaha BBP35 recently and want to replace the pickguard. Love the bass but not that cream pickguard.

Looking at pickguard planet, I'm thinking that black perloid would be the classy, safe choice.

But if I want a bit more pop without going crazy, I was thinking about moonstone (color 308) or sangre del diablo (color 220).

Again, I'd like something a little more unique than black or white perloid, but nothing too flashy.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Well I went ahead and ordered both Moonstone and Sangre del diablo. For posterity, in case anyone has a similar question in the future, here's how they look. I think Moonstone fits what I'm wanting, but Sangre looks pretty cool as well.

Also attaching to the original color (cream) someone else's photo with what I believe is a brown tort pickguard. Looks great too; similar to sangre but brownish instead of reddish.

All look great, imo. What do you all think?
