im looking for a replacement pearl black or black mirror pickguard for a mm stingray 4 string with the top notch. i called ernie ball today and they sell them for 65.00!!!!! ouch!! does anyone know where i can find one cheaper?

pickguard for a stingray

That seems to be the going rate from most of the pickguard places. But see if you can track down a guy named Bryan Boots. He has an eBay store, and some of the guys at the Ernie Ball forum probably know how to contact him directly. I bought an abalone guard from him for slightly less, and it came out perfectly.
I also got one from the Ebay guy that worked fine. You could also try pickguards.com, I don't recall if it's any cheaper.
I just got a pickguard for my stingray from dazbootman pickguards on ebay. Fits perfectly. I saw he's got a black pearl one for $27. Dude, it's a no-brainer.
