Pickguard for Ibanez ATK300 (1998)

Hi!

I have just acquired a fantastic Fujigen 1998 Ibanez ATK300.

It's missing its black pickguard and I can't find a old/new to buy - I'm located in Denmark.

Does any of you have one or know of someone who do?
Please let me know.

I'm looking forward to post pictures as soon as I get the pickguard in place and the bass cleaned up.

If the 98 model does not have the truss rod adjustment at the body end of the neck, there is a brown tort pick guard on ebay at the moment and (if I recall correctly) a german website that sells ibanez replacement parts. Otherwise, you might have find a trace and send it to pick guard heaven, wdmusic or one of the custom pick guard sites.

I think the best option is to find a luthier, I was searching a black pickguart to my ATK a year ago but was impossible to find one, finally I had to do it with a template and a router...

The tort pickguard on eBay is made/sold by Jeannie's Pickguards in Pittsburg, CA.

Roger, the person you will communicate with at Jeannie's, does very good work, but some folks have found him to be a bit grumpy.

Contact him at this website: http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/ and he can make you a pickguard like the one on eBay in any color he has available (black will be easy).

Just be sure to give him complete information (Ibanez ATK300 1998 in black) and should be able to get you taken care of. He likes Paypal.

He also ships quickly.

I've got a '94 ATK300 I'm really happy with it.

Best of luck with it, just remember to verify if routing is required for truss rod adjustment, as some ATK models adjust at the headstock while others adjust at the body.
