I am building a fretless fender style bass from warmoth. P/J Config
I want the closest sound to a vintage fender as possible with a bit more output and the p'ups have to sound good fretless.
I am now between the
Nordstrand P4J4 set
Bartolini CB PJ set and regular set
DiMarzio P Pickup and Ultra Jazz Bridge
I am not planning on using any sort of onboard preamp since this is my first build. The pickups must be passive.
Any Opinions would be welcome!!!!!!
