Pickups for Aerodyne P Bass

That was a 1990 Ernie Ball model. I don't know what wood it was made from. It was solid black.

As far as I know, all the MusicMan basses except for the Bongo are made from Ash.

I had a 2006 Stingray that weighed about 12 lbs. They haven't become any lighter. That's probably why they made the Bongo so light.

Yes, and even some basswood is pretty heavy.

I'd say mine was a good 12 lbs too. That's way too much to play a 4 hour gig with standing up. Maybe if you're young you can get away with it for a while. But it does eventually take its toll.

I see that this is an old thread, but I can't find any other page that talks about the Aerodyne's pickups. I would like to know what magnets they have and how much current they put out. Thanks for your help.
