pickups making fuzz

My pickups are starting to make a fuzing noise and a loud pinch when I slap I've look at the pickups and they seem fine any ideas on what's wrong? Ps. Any suggestions on cheap pickups leave a msg

Have you made adjustments to your pick ups?

Did you move them closer to the strings?

Have u tested your bass with another bass rig? Have you tested your bass rig with another bass?

How did you determine it's your pickups?

Might also be your bass cable or some kind of internal bass wiring/pot problem.

Before replacing pickups I'd have the bass checked out by a tech.

Its def my pickups my aswell just buy new ones

And there's a good chance that the PU's are simply too close to the strings.

a good set-up on a bass can save a lot of $$$!!!
