Pickups, pickguard, and new control knobs for Mexican fender jazz bass?

So I have a Fender Standard Mexican Jazz Bass and I want to customize it by changing the pick guard, control knobs and pickups. I want some good single coil pickups for it and I want to replace the black volume and tone control knobs that came with it with the chrome/silver colored ones that come on Fender Precision Basses. Can anyone recommend some good pickups, knobs, pick guard ( I'm looking for something either tortoiseshell white or red) and how to install all or any of these things? Thanks and peace.
