pictures of colour Thunderbird

Hi I have just bought a knock off Thunderbird ( Legacy ) thats Vintage Sunburst, as my P bass is also sunburst , I was wondering if you Thunderbird owners & lovers + Fenderbirds can post pictures of you basses. I want reds whites blue etc also if possible with the head ie do it match the body.

Older Thunderbird usually have a black headstock regardless of the body color.........But not always, especially "stock" white ones.

Thanks for that TBIRD I love your white & Green ones, my wife would kill me if I had the bass painted green ( she just hates green )

I made those PG's, they're .060 styrene and were painted with an airbrush, the designs were carefully masked with graphic arts tape - I used lacquers and lots of glosscote over the top.

get your next Bird in the same color scheme as one of THESE Tbirds.

or have someone airbrush the REAL picture of the mythical Thunderbird on it.

Rics are my choice but Tbirds always give me GAS. All the Tbird threads right now are going to force my hand lol. I had an Epi Tbird once but it didn't cut the mustard. Nice basses!

( sold in Oz + other places) the bottom line stuff is about as good as ebay stuff no name but , mine the classic etc are asbout as good as SX etc
They have a Managhoy body full thickness ie no thin wings EMG pups standard bridge Daddario strings n-tune tunner ( I replaces allpots with switch)
& came with a hard vintage case to suit it. the head is same as a Thunderbird, also I got a tracing of a body from a Ephiphne TB & its exactall the same even holes for pots pups etc
Here in OZ they retail $700 Aus , but got it off ebay new no resurve $300.
