I would have guessed he used a Rat but I wouldn't have thought of the GK. I know Dave from Unsane used a SVT 3 with a fridge 8x10 cabinet and a Rat. Andrew's tone sounds somewhat the same.
I have an old GK 400RB and a 1x15 cabinet along with a old Rat that I still use. I should play with that setup and see if I can get that type of tone.
One thing I do with my Rat is run a Q/Strip after it to add back some low end as the Rat does kill it.
I found it funny that Andrew referred to the hate sound as I had a band years ago in which the guitarist said we hit the hate pedals when we kicked in the super gnarly distortion.
