Got anything in leopard???

Just curious... you mind telling us what you paid for the abused original?

BTW... I luv it! :D

Actually, a week ago some crazy lady had us install a very hideous leopard print carpet on her steps and hall.....in a beautiful 1800's home, which was practically a mansion. She declined to let us take pics of the job for some unknown reason, but I did manage to sneak a couple really crappy ones with my camera phone.

PS, a bud of mine scored the cab for me at the GC labor day sale, for $329.

What a deal!

It's alway great to have a craft or skill where you can do something on your own. Not only for the element of uniqueness, but to save a buck or two... like being able to fix your own car, or building a really cool car from a POS car...

So... now you gotta do the amp head in Black Angus... :D

My head is an original late 70's SVT, it aint going to be done to match.

Not sure why it was beat like it was....it appears ampeg uses some really thin and cheap tolex, and it was barely glued....took very little work, and no tools or heat to remove it.

The 8x10 looks great! You could always build a new head box for the amp and cover it to match...

A few years back, I bought a non-working Acoustic 360 covered in leopard vinyl...it was nasty.

I went the other way, repairing the power amp, recovering the speaker and preamp cabinets with black vinyl and making new grilles for the cabinet (including the aluminum trim). Quite pretty when I was finished...

For some reason I thought you said prison, not person :p

I want to retro up my stuff.. I think people would kill me for putting a tan sort of tolex on the V8 though..

Wow, lau lau! I was waiting to here from my brother-from-another-mother-down-under! So, Pop... Wassup? :hyper:

First thing: should you desecrate your V-8 in any way, shape, or form... I'll personally fly down there and take it away from you! So, please do... :p

Now... either one, if not both, of them SWR cabinets of yours would look rather fetching in a lovely, soft Koala bear covering... heh-heh-heh...

Just kidding... P.E.T.A.... :spit:
