Pimped out pedalboards?

im thinking of adding some pimped out features to my Pedaltrain pedalboard; I/O and a DI out and possibly a power input.

I’ve been following BTPA on Instagram which is partly inspiring my to do this, but their patch bays are too expensive to get to the UK. I own a drill and can solder, so I think a DIY effort would be good.
Some under-board lighting be good as well for dark stages.

I was thinking it’d be cool to see what you guys have as “extras” over and above just the pedals (Breeders club/nano club etc).

So, let’s see your pimped up boards, DIY and custom built set ups!

I too have been considering adding some BTPA type upgrades for in/out, send/receive, and for power. I am thinking of connecting a few boards and this seems like the smart and cleanest way to do it. Subscribed...

How does the powercon work? You have an adapter that connects to your power supply under the board and then a plug that connects on the outside? I've seen some situations where people link boards with a powercon in/out...do you have any idea how the out works?

The powercon has 3 blade terminals. I took a right angle iec and put terminals on the wires after cutting the Edison plug off.
For Daisy chaining, you can use the true1 connector which has in and out in a single module. I didn't go that route cuz I'm the only one using my power conditioner. There's a YouTube video showing a Furman pc with a true1 connector. Great idea for stage power. The other end of my board power cable is an Edison plug. Any power connector will work but powercon is locking and fits in a d panel hole where Edison and iec don't.
