It will stand out fine with either color.
You could also paint the frame of the tweeter gold, too for a nice finishing touch.

You could start a trend.

I was wondering if you would see this or not... I just picked up a Firebass 700 and now this is my 2nd Peavey product. You guys build a real solid product. As I stated earlier, the construction on this is down right impressive! I will see if I can get a picture of the 700 on top of this tomorrow night at practice. If not I will try to get a picture this weekend.

Why would I mind? I think that it would be great! People take themselves waaaay to seriously. I'm glad to see that others see the "fun" in this. Go for it, do something original!

I actually almost went with purple zebra stripes, but I figured that this would be easier because the stripes had directionality and this it didn't really matter how straight the pattern was.

If you got the skills, go for the zebra! Make it purple zebra with a hot pink grill!
