Pizza Hut kinda sucks

Make your own. Buy a pizza stone and high-quality ingredients and be prepared for the best pizza you've ever had.

We haven't ordered pizza in 2 years and we have it weekly!

I make my own homemade pizza all the time, and it is far better and way cheaper (less than $5) than any chain can make. When you make it yourself, you control the ingredients and can make it exactly the way you want.

As soon as I found out that Domino's founder was giving money to Operation Rescue I swore them off until Tom Monaghan stopped receiving money from them. Of course, their pizza going downhill faster than a triple black also helps.

Nowadays I only buy local pizza, Papa Murphy's, or I make my own.

I mean, you have to keep it in context. What do you think will be better tasting - a $15 pizza or a $5 one? I sure hope the $15 one will be, but for $5 and zero wait I have no problem with LC.

Thats how I feel about Dominoes, i think its the best tasting bang for the buck wise , when I lived farther south LC was great and I personally new the owners son and his dad took great pride in making delicous pizza, where I live now LC kills me with such a horrible taste.

It really just varies place to place and with chains it really varies across america. I still think the best pizza is from a local joint for my town.

Has anyone had bacon on there pizza?

Gotta go local... the mom and pop shops with the new york style crust is where it is at, and usually they are price competitive with the chains while tasting 10x better. Also, if you're that guy that dabs the grease off the top of your pizza with a paper towel... just stop eating pizza, you're doing it wrong.

(I won't lie though, I do sometimes do little caesers just for the convenience and ridiculously low price... you know what they say about pizza and sex...)

I actually love Dominos...Im a huge fan of the new recipe. Only pizza ive ever really had a problem with was Little Caesars..i wont even get into that.

Rusty's Pizza Parlor in SoCal is great, so is Klondike's in Arroyo Grande. Definitely my top 3 of pizza.

Pizza hut in the US is much different than Pizza hut in Canada.

I ordered a pizza from pizza hut when I was in seattle and it tasted like cardboard.

The ones I have had here in canada have all been deep dish, gooey and good.

When I lived in and around TO, we'd order from Pizza Pizza. Of course there's a lot of small places around, many have 2 for one or 3 for one deals, but they can be pricey.
Here, the best we can get is Pizza Delight. They also have the best Donairs. We have a Domino's, and Papa Johns, but I don't care for either. There are several other pizza places, and some are o.k. and some are paper. :spit:

yep, I have bacon on my pizza all the time, and to be honest I can take it or leave it. Of course, I'm not picky about my pizza - as long as there are no pineapples on it I'm fine!

As far as specific restaurants for pizza go, I haven't had pizza hut in ages, when I need quick cheap pizza, pizza pizza is closest to the U, and you can get a medium with pepperoni for $5, and the beer store is just a long enough walk away to take your order for pizza, walk to the store, get some beer, and walk back in time for the pizza to be done. Most of the time, the pizza I get is in small mom and pop/family owned businesses or made at home from scratch and I prefer it that way, but $5 for a meal for myself and my girlfriend, with enough cash from a tenner to buy a couple tallboys of something cheap to go with it is kinda hard to argue with.

Fox's isn't that bad for chain pizza, Little Caesars for the workingman's cheap dinner. If you're in Columbus, OH it's gotta be Hound Dog's. Adriatico's is meh... and way too expensive, donato's is a joke, then there's the one place all the OSU people try to get you to go to which honestly isn't that good either.

Up in Northampton, Mass. there's a decent place called pinocchio's but their downfall is the lack of any type of meat topping.

There's a place local called Mr. Pizza that used to be best in town, but dunno about these days, haven't had it in years.

As for Pizza Hut, it's not bad. I like Papa John's best out of chain pizza restaurants. Little Caesar's is disgusting. I used to love Domino's before they changed the recipe.

I love NY-style pizza. Any time I'm in NYC or even any Italian pizzaria in 120 miles nearby. Just going by smell and sight walking into the door, I know if it's going to be awesome or not. It's not really that expensive. I don't know what people are talking about.
DiGiorno's pizza is not good. I don't know why, my favorite frozen food pizza is Red Baron.
