PJ build electronics gone wrong

You might want to stay away from house electrical wiring if that's what you think...
Yea, I got that reversed, didn't I. :-)

My travel trailer drives me nuts. It is a mix of 12 volt (which should be red/hot, black/ground) and 120v (black/hot, white/ground) but they didn't follow normal 12vdc rules, instead using black for the 12v hot lines. I'm forever having to double check my work with the DVM.

I have a friend that's a master electrician. He likes to say "test before you touch." Probably would work well in this case too....
