PJ Wiring - VVT 3 Way PUP selector - how to?

So my question is how would I go about wiring my bass as a VVT 3 way switch?
I’m using 250k pots for the Volumes and Tone. My main concern is that I’ll lose volume or tone from my P pickup if I decide to toggle to just that pickup. I’m trying to achieve a more “true” P bass tone without giving up the Jazz bridge.
I have seen the Flying V and Explorer wiring diagrams but I just wanted to double check.
By the way I am putting a Seymour Duncan Antiquity II P and J bridge into an Fender American Elite Precision Bass and making it conpletely passive.
