Planning on buying a Warwick Corvette Stanard Active

I do gig's in a soul band and i'm using a jazz bass at the moment but i'm getting quite bored of it. Any suggestions ?

The beauty of soul music is that you can usually use most any bass; I play a Musicman Stingray in a predominantly Motown band--go figure! The dark, spectral tones of a Warwick would be wonderful in a soul setting, especially if finger-played.

I think PJ pickup configuration will suit music you play.

I would go for the bubinga version and buy used but other than that my only suggestion is try before you buy.

I'd go used as they are quite expensive pieces of gear. But I would love one myself. Seems like a good choice for any music really too.
