Dude, seriously, never heard of Missy Elliot or Pharrell Williams?
I don't follow thier music but they are far more famous than likely any bass player- possibly in all of eternity.
ok heard of "happy" but doesn't do anything for me. *shrugs*
ok, sheesh, Norfolk is LA now. Or NYC. Got it.
yeah because that’s exactly what i said.
btw, who’s still “trying to get signed”? hahaha, this isn’t 1987. we have the internet now.
Not to mention the individual musicians who have gone on to play nationally with well known artists. The Wooten Brothers. Gordon Banks. James Genus. Karen Briggs and others. Nobody said the area was a music hub like the big cities. The area does have a bustling music scene and there are some really good bands here.i specifically said cover band scene. we gets paid. i’m not into the original scene much, but there are a few musical successes from here... Missy Elliott, Mae, Last Bison, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, and others
I know! I'm packing! i had no idea! Goodbye NYC!!!
lol
...I can't tell you how many bands I know that don't have one song from the 21st Century (that's 19 years, folks)
