Play with Pick

Hey .... I play bass with my pick and yes I play with my fingers also. But playing with pick makes me more comfortable and I am confident about the sounds I play with pick too. But i have heard lot of critism about playing with picks. The most important thing for me is my comfort and the sounds I can play with my pick.
Can you advise me the details please ...

There have been dozens, if not hundreds of threads about this. Including multiples within the last week.

Each song dictates how it should be played. Some songs like fingers, some like picks, some like slap, some like.......

Sir Paul and I use our thumb. FWIW I normally play the way I'm most comfortable - and do not worry about what others think. The main thing is are you using what the song likes.

So --- have several ways in your bag of tricks.
