Played a new Steve Harris today..

Do any of you guys know whether the pickups are the Seymour Duncan SPB-1's or SPB-3's? The description on the Fender site says SPB-1 but the specs say SPB-3. Been looking around but I can't find anything saying definitely either way.

I love Steve Harris! but i will never ever go on a stage with a Steve Harris signature..that would be a bit emberrasing to me. Its only a fender p bass...i really dont see the point. Should i wear the same clothes as him as well?

The strings probably are rough. Look at how that guys plays! He beats on those things. And for those staccato triplets I think the high string tension would be nice. I want another P and that sounds really cool, but 1750 for a MIJ is too ******* high. I'll wait until an impulsive type buys it and sells it a year later for 500 bucks to fix his car.
