played a spector

played a rebop 4 in tobacco burst today thru my SWR workingpro head and an ampeg 4 10. very nice, smooth sound. great calrity. that being said, i also think it will cut through really well. however, i still need to get my hands on a dingwall. because i can have a new one for aboue 200-300 bucks more.

The rebops are definitely a nice bass for the buck,e specially the new DLX ones with the inlays. Ive never played a Dingwall, but they seem like a great deal. Personally, Im not a fan of the HZ's in the Spectors. Used to own a Q5 with em.

yea. the pups are nice and "hifi", BUT.. almost too much. they do have much nicer bass response than say, my ibanez, and the body is carved delightfully. the color is great too.

time will tell, time will tell.

they're asking 1000, with tax and bag. is that fair?
