Try a clean boost in front. Makes it much louder and warmer, IME.

So true. I tried this at home and it really helped. May have to try this live

The day I bought my StingRay, I test drove it through a Buster combo. I couldn't wait to play 46&2 through that setup! Very good tone, though I couldn't crank it in the little mom-n-pop shop I was in. Not as hi-fi sounding as my GK I had back then.

I like the M9 better than anything I've ever played through. Very clean, quick and way more than enough power. The M3 is great too, but different.

i could probably find an m6 around the same price as the buster. I'm thinking the m6 would be a better bang for the buck, and lighter. Theres still something about buster that i really like for some reason, maybe all the tube talk :O haha
