You can suss out the rhythm of odd groups of notes by fitting a word with the same number of syllables in the space instead of counting.I occassionally play sax transcriptions with 5 or many more notes per qtr. note.
Any tips on how to execute these.
For 5, I count 12 123 or 123 12.
