playing on the toilet

I think that's the only time any of us will ever hear that in our entire lives. :D

In 34 years I've never once tought of taking food into the crapper, let alone sitting there and eating till I had drop the kids off at the pool.

Funny though.

I can imagine having basses on wallmounts next to the toilet paper and an Ampeg head on the top of the toilet or something.

I'm usually in and out of the bathroom pretty fast, except when I'm at work. Work is a constant sourse of boredom for me so I'm forever trudging up the stairs into the gents, and having a good old rest on the can. I sometimes bring my bass to work and leave it upstairs until it's time to go(I live far away from where I work and practice, which means it's just easier to bring the bass, work and then go straight down to practice), I can imagine one of the managers face if I walked out of the can with my bass in hand...

I'm in the habit of taking my time at work though. The only problem is, is that you can't hear the radio, so I can't hear if I'm being called or not. One time I got caught out...

Me-Right lads, I'm going to the little boy's room, see you in a few minutes.
A few guys-Yeah, yeah...
Me-*Takes time, contemplates life. goes back downstairs*
A few guys-Where the hell were you?! You were called three times! Longest s**t ever!
Me-Erm...

I did a calculation once for how much time I actually spend on the crapper while at work. I figured about 15 minutes a day, figure I work 5 days a week and I'm paid every two weeks, so that comes down to 150 minutes every two weeks. Sooooo....I get paid about 30 bucks every two weeks to do my business in the bathroom!

I've got way too much time on my hands. :p

hehe i do it all the time, what else you gonna do? you can only read your bass/guitar/whatever mags so much, im sure flea recorded some bass parts for BSSM in a bathroom (I know the drums were its on the doc) and the straining adds extra oomph into those slap licks.

if you aint tried it then you are wasting valubal practice time, i mean 30-40 mins (or 2 hours)on a sunday afternoon while the missus watches the soaps what else are you gonna do? you cant amp up cos she cant hear the TV, the cats chewed through my headphone cable (little sods) so now its mono so bass pod is less ejoyable and you really need that 'me' time wuth just you and the one you love.
