Does anyone have good tips for playing with one (fretting) hand?
I want to play a fairly simple bass line by only tapping notes with my left hand. You see, my right hand will be busy holding a trumpet (there is a good chance I’m biting off more than I can chew). One of the notes should be an open string, and I’m not sure how to tap that (or I can go to the 5th fret on the lower string, which will be quite difficult).
I assume a lot of compression is involved. I have a fret wrap to help muting, but could get a chunk of sponge and stick it near the bridge.
Thoughts?
