Flexocore Deluxe are a bit tight for pizzicato, but they sustain and growl pretty well. I know some players that use them as a hybrid string. They bow beautifully and are pretty popular right now.

+1. I guess if I wanted to be picky, I could find something to complaint about, but I've got no real complaints -- they work just fine for my needs.
Arco - a no brainer, they are a great bowing string (and I am more focused on arco now, which is why I changed from EPs to FDs).
Pizzicato - like Joey described -- the tighter feel works for some (like me), while not for others. They are not low tension like Obligatos, so they won't give out on you. On the other hand, a lower tension string might be preferable to certain players (and just as importantly, certain instruments might like a lower tension string). But if you like their brand of pizzicato, then I think they can be/are a great do-it-all string. I might prefer them just a tad less tight, but I like everything else about them, so I adjust...
You are looking at Evah Pirazzi Weich -- I used EPs regular and weich for a few years. I think EPs are a very attractive pizzicato string and they also sound good with the bow. And EPs and Flex Deluxe are at least in the same ballpark tonally. But the FDs bow better -- more precise pitch and they start up a bit quicker. And since they have a steel core, they arguably will give you more years of service (which I can't confirm yet, because I've only been using FDs for 6-7 months, in which time everything has only gotten better).
I think I have to give FDs a shot when I can afford to buy a set. I prefer lower tension string at least for pizz but me as well are focusing more on arco these days. The ones I like the most will be on my main bass and the other on my Chadwick Folding bass. The EPs arrived today so I'm gonna try them and hopefully I like them.

Daveming: I can imagine a situation where in a few years, you go back to spirocores and it'll feel like going home. With the good and the bad.
In another thread, we were discussing that, at least for some people, Permanents work on both sides of the fence pretty well. EP Weichs are light - I'd also consider EV medium tension, but being new to a set of Permanents myself, I'm very, very happy with them. I also find it interesting that they only come in medium tension.
