Does anybody in this community happen to have seen this bass? and if you read this please comment or like so it stays visible for longer.
I am the original builder of the bass, it was a prototype for a "Snazz bass" my designs, when I was still building for Nordstrand when they were still in Yucaipa.
I have these pictures from the build to show details. Unchangeable things are the full thickness redwood top with 6 inlayed bolts for the neck.
Luminlay dots on a very figured curly maple fretboard on a Wenge neck that features a scarf joint for a angled headstock.
Last I was told, the person I sold it to sold it to someone in Bloomington, Indiana... could have been Illinois it was around 11ish years ago.
Headstock had a zero fret with wenge string spacer. and if the truss rod cover is still there it has my last name in Kanji (japanese symbols) laser engraved along with the name.
I might buy it back if its still close to how I made it. But, really this is a curiosity hunt to see where the one I let go went.
Life took me a very different direction from high end bass building and shortly after I
wrapped up ideas of starting my own brand.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. and thank you for reading
