Double Bass Please help me training the Tonedexter

Hi folks, I have a tonedexter on trail for a few weeks. I tried to train it with:

Rode NT-1000
Oktava Mk012
Levit LCT-140
Behringer B5

My Pickup is a Wilson K4. The problem with the wave maps is always the volume. When I change from CH2 stepwise to the Pickupblend it gets louder and louder. The wave maps are so quiet, they are unusable. The CH2 sound is not bad.
I always start training with open D (wolf an A) and it works within reasonable time.

What am I missing??
Thanks so much!!

EMail the Audio sprockets guy - forget his name. In my experience he responds quickly and helpfully. I haven't had your problem BTW. I've used sort of a random shotgun approach with mics and placement and ended up with very good results.

Wilson K4 works like a charm with the dex, for me. I trained with TLM 103, DPA 4099, AT 4050, Rode NT5, Heil PR40.
Maybe you provided insufficient gain/preamplification to your mics while training? I went through a decent pre (FMR RNP) before hooking up the mics to the Tonedexter.

(edit) oh sorry I see this reply may be to late, hope you get another shot at trying
