Here's my "update".
They relaeased me to back to work, but wouldn't ya know, I started to get sick again so I'm back home again.

My doctors didn't come up with anything concrete for a diagnosis, so I am off to the University of Michigan (U of M) on Friday Aug. 4th.

This means more tests and all the waiting that goes along with it.

From there, it's on the radar, but not for certain, that the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minn. could be another option.

My right side has been feeling strange again, and the headaches are about the same.

I've been taking Xanax to help level things out, but don't like the feeling of it.

I look at it this way, things could be worse, they could be better.
I don't really care as long as I have my family and friends.

The things that have transpired over the last few weeks are amazing. It really helped lift my spirits and keep me on the right path.

I'm still able to gig thank God. Seems weird to hear my docs say "Stay home from work, but if you want to gig every now and then, thats cool with us".
So I'm limiting myself to maybe once a week.
Over did it last week, had two gigs on consecutive nights. That was rough. Like I said, my right side feels strange again and my stamana is really affected.

Anyway, thats all I got!

Best of luck, Mike.

I can relate to the "mystery" act of your illness. After five years, countless brain scans of every type and description, and more neurologists than I can shake a stick at from the best hospitals in the country, we still don't know why my daughter has seizures, and she's been on darn near every anti-seizure drug ever conceived. :spit:

It all comes down to just keeping going. This year, she's on a new drug, and seems to be happier and under better seizure control than ever before. No one can tell us why, but it's good enough for me.

So I hope you keep on trying things, and hopefully something will work out, even if no one can give you any answers as to why. :)

Mike, a bump without an update??? What gives???

How are things coming along? When can we start donating unused (used) gear to sell to help the funds stay strong?
BigMikeW's got a PC en route from me. Once that is in place, I imagine things will be coming together pretty quickly. We've talked via phone, and I know he's both busy and driven on this...

I came late but i really feel for you guys and Talkbass is possibly the best things in the world for me now. I really feel for you as i too suffer. I get chronic daily headaches as while they may not be as serious as any one elses conditions after a year and a half, lets just say i feel for you. Good luck with life man and lets get some pics of mike at a gig just to prove the sickness wrong!

Things are moving along. I need to talk to our legal counsel this week and get a few things taken care of before I move any further. I need to make sure every I is dotted and T crossed.

Mike's bass should be ready by mid-october. The body is almost done and the neck will be about two weeks behind that.

We are about a week from launching the website!
