Please Reco GOOD Headset / Headphones

I don't use in-ear because apparently I'm deformed.... never yet found a pair that would stay in and sound consistent... never mind "GOOD", just audible, non- annoying.
So for last two years been using lightweight headset that works pretty well except:
- Clips at too low level, especially when using 5-string... the low freq tones cause it to clip early
- Overall bass tones are OK, but the problem above keeps me at barely-functioning level once I mix in the guitar & drums and keys etc

So... I saw another thread where someone named Grado SR60i... certainly not too pricey. Is that a good pick? reviewers said it was thin on bass....

what do you use/reco?

Grado are the best sounding under $200 phones I've heard. But I've not heard the 60 or 80.

I also like the M-Audio IE-10 buds (with the smallest 'squishies').
