Please tell me...

So I've been playing in a band that tunes CGCF and about twice per week I go to practice and tune from standard then I tune back up when I get home.

I would like to know if this is bad for my neck. For reference, I have a 2007 MIM jazz bass neck strung with Ernie Ball regular slinkys.

Please tell me this won't cause 'permanent' damage to my neck.

Thanks

Nothing to worry since you down tune the strings, there is less tension on them than when they are tuned in standard :)

So nothing to worry about the neck, but you might wanna pay some attention to the action height of the bridge :)
