That was only the second time I played that Violin Bass so I was still finding my way round it having never played a 30" scale bass with very tight string spacing before.

Not what I would normally choose to listen to but if we all played the same music life would be pretty boring.

I stage managed a young bands showcase a while back and got to see them playing up close. Even if I wasn't keen on most of the music I had to admire their playing and singing(?), or is it more accurate to say vocals.

I play in a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute called Petty Larceny, out of Worcester, MA. We've been together almost five years now, and it's been a helluva lot of fun! We're a bunch of older guys having the time of our lives playing Petty's tunes and entertaining the crowd at the gigs we play. This was taken last year at the Simple Man Saloon in Clinton, MA.
