Plutoneium - Chi Wah Wah

Yeah, pretty darn hot. I definitely dig the size. And I also wonder how it sounds with bass?

The gear junkie in me wants the bronze edition, of course. But do I really use wah enough to even justify the regular edition? I can't remember the last time I actually used my 105Q, so... probably not. lol

But, subscribed just in case. :D

Looks DOD FX-17 size, or even smaller.

Turn that into an expression pedal enclosure and you'll sell a ton.

Also sounds awesome, although it's on guitar. Most wahs sound great on guitar but like crud to me on bass.

I'm probably going to get one of these at some point when it's been developed a bit more. At the moment, there's apparently a fair bit of delay before it cuts back to the dry signal which is what annoyed me about the Morley Bad Horsie and Crybaby 95Q. They're planning on updating it so this delay time can be adjusted.

I can't see why it wouldn't work on bass, it seems technically very similar to the Morley designs (IC based, LED/LDR etc.) and in the clips, it definitely has the Morley sound. Morley wahs are my favourite of all the wahs I've tried.

So, when it's been updated and some more review appear, I'll try one out :bassist:.

Tone Factor will have these shortly they apparently shipped to them today.

Hmm... even MORE tempting. I choked a little bit when I saw shipping costs (they're over the pond, so that's to be expected though), Tonefactor having them will make trying one quite a bit more "justifiable." lol

I wonder if they're going to get any of the bronze ones? Definitely want to see those. :)

I never checked that but I got my hopes up when you said over the pond and assumed UK but noooooo, oh well can get it from Tone Factor but I think someone else is going to have to take the plunge on this.

Sorry to get your hopes up dude, I should've specified it was "across the pond" in the OTHER direction. :hmm: lol

Man, the G.A.S./Collector in me really wants to check out the Bronze version but I just hardly ever use wah... I guess I'll see just how cool they look. lol

Really like how this thing springs back into a neutral position after depressing it, seems like it'd help a lot having the enclosure so small... tilting it forward (towards the top where the knobs are) would probably be pretty tricky otherwise.

If the spring back can be disabled it'd be even more awesome though. Sometimes I like riding a wah in the middle for a scooped out sound.

Subscribed! Hopefully someone gets one of these so we can hear bass clips!

I've messaged a guy on YouTube who has one and did some bass clips of the proteus to see if he can do bass clips of this pedal.
