pock·e·ti·tis (pŏk′ĭ tī′tĭs)
n.
1. An ailment brought about by the use of small baglike apparati, usually filled with pockets and other storage compartments, where random pieces of gear are stowed during the haste of teardown, only to be lost for all eternity or until such time that you empty every piece of transport gear you own in order to find it again. Usually lasts 2-3 weeks.
2. An affliction which physically prevents keyboard players from placing their left hand in their pocket to prevent the creation of bass clef notes within the context of a band. Can create caustic relations and is potentially fatal.

Whenever i see this thread I cannot help but think of the old Ronco ad for the pocket Fisherman:

Do any 20-30 year olds even understand how silly Ronco products were? There was a bottle cutter to make glasses, and some device that would "frost" a mug but people got frostbite on their fingers, LOL.

And the LP equivalent to Ronco? - The endless stream of Ktel LP's? ;)
