Bored a bit too far past stock.
He drank parts cleaner from a drum,
Eating nothing, not a crumb.
Drunk all day and into night,
His own children fit to fight.
Machines would tell him everything.
He thought his ears heard stars that sing.
Soft silver was his chosen drug
And gravy from a coffee mug.
His past pursued him like a hound
Until his ashes touched the ground.
Forgotten men, though well intended,
