Sensing the death of a friend
I reached out but no one answered the phone
So I bit my nails and fretted all night
Until I just had to drive over
The storm was raging but I didn't care
I pounded on the front door to be met with a smiling face
I went inside and sat by the fire to enjoy good drink and the company of my not dead friend.
