Tom, yeah I have a lot of stuff actually.
When I get home I'll put up a free form poem I wrote for my son in 1993.
I understand I got clinical depression, and a number of other conditions.
I'll try to pick out some and PM'em to you by tommorrow I have 7 notebooks full of the stuff.
Ahh William Butler Yeats my favorite line by him is "Those I fight I do not hate and those I defend I do not love". I did an essay on it in High School senior year.
Immortal gods,
I crave no pelf
I pray for no man
but myself
Grant I may never prove so fond,
To trust man on his oath or bond
or a harlot who is a-weeping
nor a dog who seems a-sleeping
or a keeper with my freedom
or my friends if I should need 'em
Amen! so fall to'ot
Rich men sin,
and I eat root.
So you like the poems I sent?
Got anymore you wanna share?
I'll get writing again some time soon, no doubt. I have a lot of reading to do, applying to a few universities, including Oxford (
) in september/october, so my knowledge needs to be as broad as possible!Great stuff for 17-years-old, keep writing. It can be a lifelong passion that will help keep you sane through the bumps in life.

Poetry.com...post it on there, you get reviews and a publish date that you can use for copyright , also it's where all my stuff is
Keep your poems in a notepad and keep writing.b-b-b-bump!
Any feedback (/abuse) appreciated, or post any of your own
