Bumping this with big game news.

Pokemon Gold, and Silver, they're being remade for the DS! :hyper:

Pokemon Heart Gold, and Pokemon Soul Silver will be out in Japan before years end, November, IIRC.

They're good, combat is much more advanced, new creatures are ok, but I prefer the R/B/G/S ones myself.

They're worth playing for sure, IMO.

If you wanna wait until end of the year/late next year, Gold and Silver are coming out on the DS updated.

I'm tempted by Platinum. Generally I prefer pre-DS Gameboys, but I might be willing to make an exception to try this one.

I grew up with Blue version and the cards and all that jazz, played through up until Pearl and didn't get too far into it (was losing interest in video games right around then) but I will tell you, Pokemon Trozei for the DS is one of the most riveting puzzle games I've ever played next to Yoshi's Cookie for the Game Boy and Meteos (also for the DS). Maybe it's because I was always tripping on drugs when I got Trozei, but it was TIGHT.

Fast paced puzzle games are always fun, even if all other video games lost their appeal to me. I don't know if I could justify spending $130 on a DS to play some puzzle games, though...

Ah, and Mystery Dungeon for the GBA/DS was pretty refreshing.

Haha, i played Blue back in the day. Between my friend(who had Red) and i we both got all 151. After that though there wasn't much else to do...

...untill...

...on a total whim a few weeks ago i went to the local EB Games and told them my nephew had a birthday comming up and wanted whatever the newest pokemon game is. So I picked up a copy of Platinum and currently i am tearing through it. Haha, i beat the main game and now i'm raising a team to battle on DS' Wi-Fi!

I feel like i am hiding this from my friends like a bad drug habbit...
