Cream is a bit funky and cool. Black just looks so good though.

Cream or white pickup covers have their moments, to be sure.
Most of the time I'd say I'm not cool enough to get away with it.
But that's just me.

I have the exact same bass, though to be fair I've modded it a bunch. I say keep 'em black

I don't think cream goes with a white pickguard. If you're keeping the white pickguard keep the black.

If you're stuck on that, then white pickup covers - cream will just look like it doesn't quite match on a white pickguard.

But I still gotta throw in a vote for a black pickguard (and black pickup covers) - the blue would pop with that. As is, the white grabs your eye, and it's .. just white, which I find boring.

I prefer cream if I were to start from scratch, but I also wouldn't swap out a black cover if it's already there.

Mine has cream pickup cover along with mint green pickguard for matching look.

Here's a recent of mine with cream. I had a really difficult time getting the aftermarket covers to fit into the Fender guard. (sanding and shaping)
