There were many backhanded compliments and useless comments on my restoration thread so I will probably stick to helping others when in need and asking when I am in need.
I may build a thread for my Marlan build since I have been able to make many mistakes appear to be intentional. That may help a few here.
Come on Mikey, I know how the pointless comments can turn you off and not want to bother posting, but build threads inform and inspire. There are a lot of 1st and 2nd builds (myself included) out there now, but not many by experienced builders. Just ignore the dummies and post on dude, we'd all be thankful.
Ok, I've got a question I'd like to sneak in here- I'm planning on refinishing a neck in poly that is currently finished with nitro. I'm worried about the headstock as there is a logo on there and I'm worried about sanding it off, blurring it ect... Should I just leave the headstock be or will sanding over the logo not be a problem? I'm not sure the name of it, but it's clear plastic with ink logo, inkjet maybe? I can see the edges which is one reason I'd like to refin the headstock.
Sorry the the derail!
