A 400+ and a Titan/M9 inspired channel switching amp would be insane. You can take my money for that combo now.

I’m not hounding @agedhorse for a Titan reissue again, last time we got the WD and the TT.A 400+ and a Titan/M9 inspired channel switching amp would be insane. You can take my money for that combo now.
Heh. I was a student at the RCA Tech Institute in Upper Darby in '72, it was definitely a thing there.
This was a carryover from the early legacy designs and was dropped on mesa designs starting about 30 years ago.Would it be 2 input/2 channel as the 400+ is? Sorry if that's kind of a dumb question as it looks like the original 400+ is 2 inputs/2 channels, but seems like many amps these days are 1 input with 1 or more channels, or 2 inputs with 1 channel - annoying for doublers.
Cough … (titan 2 inputs foot switchable variable overdrive, active semi para, and passive mids with a built-in adjustable foot switchable solo boost, and variable output for each channel, channel foot switchable, channel paralleling...) I'd just like to say that it's great to see a manufacturer ask for some input from the users. Many Thanks to Aged Horse and Mesa.
(I haven't tried a 400+ but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night). You guys are talking like carpenters now.Hell, make it a BCH.

I am still intrigued by SMPS driven tube output stage. Although I guess one might say the market has spoken, given the failure of Peavey and others with this concept.
Still a 20 lb head with 4 x KT88 on the output section seems like something a lot of people might want to buy, provided it comes in around max $1200.
It may be unobtainable?
