POP up ads on TalkBass.com

I hate when I click on something, a darn pop up ad will appear. Especially ones from MapsFox. Can't you do anything about it?

Can you send a screenshot? I'm concerned, because nobody else is reporting anything for some weeks now, that you might have malware on your system. Desktop or mobile?

I was on the phone with tech support at Apple and the MapsFox popup is not installed on my computer. I have malware protection. I will try to get a screen shot when it comes up again.

After poking around, it seems as though it's either your browser, or your malware protection has failed you.
MapsFox is the adware-type program that shows commercial content constantly and installs additional MapsFox browser extension without your permission

FYI, just got off the phone with Apple tech support and another tech helped me solve this problem.
