1. How can you be assured that it is, in fact, a lime? Looks more like a green jelly bean to me.

2. So the father in the OP is not concerned with the high caloric content of the sugars in the candy & the consequences of ingesting crap like that, but rather a jelly bean embracing a lemon?

3. The wife was so upset she had to go & sit in the car. Imagine her reaction if someone showed them something that actually IS offensive (by everyone's standards).

The specific candy mentioned caused more cavities among school children than almost any other candy. I'm tellin' you, it was the best stuff ever.
