Possible ‘68 Kay K-2B?

A local buy-n-sell has this for sale. Owner claims it’s a ‘68 K2-B. I’m guessing that’s based on the numbers stamped on the base of the neck. From what I’ve read that may not be a manufacture date.

Is this a Kay or is it more likely a teisco? Any thoughts?
