I'm unsure as to which combination of cabinet/head partnerships to go for. At the moment, I am looking at:
- Hartke HA3000 head (300W into 4 Ohms or 180W into 8 Ohms)
- Ashdown MAG210T cabinet (200W at 8 Ohms)
The reasoning behind this was that although the Hartke is capable of pushing 300W, it's only at 4 Ohms and at 8 Ohms, it produces 180W. That would mean that I would have to have a 200W cab at 8 Ohms, as there arn't any cabs that produce 180W at 8 Ohms.
I've explained it OK, but I'm pretty confused myself. Has anybody got any other configurations that could fit under the £500GB mark?
Thanks
Craig
