Possible string Identification?

Howdy there folks! Just got a 1980 Tokai Jazz sound in from Japan today. Has new strings and a great setup. Really enjoying the strings on this!.

They are Nickel rounds not as brightly polished like some nickel rounds, no silk on headstock, pretty thick red silk at ball ends. Brass ball ends.

Anyone know of or remember strings close to this description?

I think I may have found them! I think they may be Magma nickels, These are the only strings I can find so far with thick read silk at the ball end only.

If the strings are new, can’t you just contact the seller and ask them what they are?

It came from a pawn shop in Japan via a reseller.
