It seems like there's a thread about everything else, so what not one about your action. I couldn't find my good ruler to show mine better, but at the 12th fret my B string is sitting at 2mm from the fret crown to the bottom of the B string.

Most of my basses are set at between 2/32nds (at the G, D and sometimes A strings and 2.5 /32nds of an inch at the E and B strings. Occasionally the B string is a little closer to 3/32nds. These settings eliminate most buzzing if I pick fairly lightly.I just measured them this morning but I don't know if I'm up to taking a picture of them, however.

I set my basses to 3/32" (2.38 mm) from the top of the 12th fret to the bottom of the string. Then I raise the low B 1/64" (0.39 mm) and lower the G by the same amount. All of that after checking neck relief, of course (just a tiny bit for me).
my low "E" is set at 5mm (from the middle of the string to the top of the 12th fret... or about 4mm from the bottom of the "E" to the top of the fret, however you want to look at it). the "G" is set a little lower. i like high action.
don't have any pics but I adjusted mine recently on my five string Ibanez and its a lot nicer now. I've got mine setup real high.
