Post your crappy live footage

How about a video from a rehearsal (maybe our 3rd rehearsal in the existence of this band)? Our drummer owns a commercial studio (he mainly does remote drum sessions, so it's set up for that), so we used that to grab good audio and had a friend hold the camera. The audio was mixed in 5 minutes, so the mix isn't amazing, but it turned out pretty good anyway.

Yeah, that's good sound. Hope that band still plays.

You and I play kinda similarly.

Thank you! We're pretty active, and constantly picking up more gigs. I also do a lot of session work for the drummer at his studio, and the lead singer and I play together at church several times a month.

Funny thing is that we did this after a month of not playing together as a band, so it's a tad rougher than usual, but it was quick and dirty, so we kept it. We're talking about doing a full-up "live in the studio" album of our back-catalog in the next few months. Something to bridge the gap between the EP we released a few months ago (Home Again, by The Real Matt Jones) and the all-new full length we want to finish writing and put out in about a year from now.

I mean, if that's the sound you're getting, why not?

Yep! And I think we can do better with the new room the studio is moving to, and with some attention to placement and baffling/gobos, etc. We've got the gear and the ears and the skills within the band, so we might as well make use of it! Also, we'd like to do a Snarky Puppy style live audience in the room with us. That would be amazing!

Roadworn P bass, SS Lo Riders, Emg P pickup, 50% tone, Tonehammer DI. Pretty good live sound if I may say so.

This is a really interesting camera and light perspective. And song, frankly. I love it. Also great for 3:00 am. Been a weird night. Just got back from opening for former multi platinum artists Mobb Deep.

Someone posted a video of their band for critique in another thread, and it made me wonder if there was an official "show your live performance videos" thread. Did some searching and didn't find one, so here's one (or a new one at least). I don't care about sound quality. Lot's of these will probably be handheld camera/phone camera footage. Who cares? Let's see how you rock...or soft rock...or even country. Just for fun!

This can be shows or practice...whatever. Obviously, I'm asking so my butt has to go first. I'll start with one from a home jam session, and I'll post more later if this thread actually takes off.

I'm the bald fellow playing bass and singing:

Well done, Sir.
