since i don't have anything new stuck to the board, i figured i'd post a night shot.

the "blue one" is actually purple...and i did that one myself ^_^ Otherwise it'd be all red...

me and my dad watched donnie darko under the influence and my dad ended up hiding behind the sofa

Maybe I should let you guys guess that for a while.... I doubt anyone on here has one.......YET. ;)

When it comes to FX, I generally don't follow the trends and I'm always searching for new and original designs.

GreenHouse Effects NoBrainer :)
Roy is a great builder.
Going to work with him on a new bass drive, its going to be awesome :).

Little setup change...

Added the Empress SuperDelay to my "Ambient Board". MURF in 1st loop, then Delay into AboveGroundFX Reverb in 2nd loop.

I put some of my less-used pedals onto a spare Gator board & setup all 3:

This pedal addiction is getting out of control!

lol. i always forget how freaking HUGE the sub-lime is. sub my glowing white hiney.

hee... hiney. i like to think it's one of the worst curse words ever on Earth 322 and it got ret-conned into our vocabulary when they mushed everything in Crisis.

nice stuff too! i'm working on the logistics of having two boards working together.

AJ! you liking the shiva? how did it do on your gig?

The gig's tomorrow. I'll be using the board I posted so the Shiva will definitely be getting it's first outing :bassist:.

Shiva -> Micro Flanger -> AD-9 :eek:

It's official, the Shiva rules :bassist:. I took the Oxfuzz as a backup just in case it didn't sit well in the mix but it was great. I was quite surprised actually. There's a few settings that are a bit too thin and fizzy but an equal amount of thick, bottom heavy tones.

I don't really understand the Starve section and the Squealer diodes yet but I'm sure I'll get used to them once I've had a bit more chance to play with them at home. Either way, it's a keeper :).

I'm going to try out my Shiva in an Industrial Noise Metal band setting tonight. It will be our fist rehearsal so I'm definitely looking to cave in the ceiling with this thing.

How'd it go?

love this pedal,..it's just wrong in all the right ways.

This pretty much sums it up for me. I think it would be a whole lot easier to understand if I knew what they were aiming for with the Shiva :p.

So, just curious, but why the POG and BOD on the same board?

Well, the funny thing is, my Aguilar Octamizer meets most of my octave-down needs! I'll actually use a different octave pedal for different songs- whatever works best in context. (Mostly session work, I generally only travel with one octaver for live gigs).

Honestly, I don't like the POG2 for octave down. It sounds very synthy, but a little too generic. Plus, there is a noticeable delay before the synthesized note engages, almost creating a sense of reverb. Not good for tight, dry passages! I DO like the POG2 for octave up, organ-eque sounds, and its' great slow-gear emulation (auto volume swell).

Finally bought my PT-Mini today. So much smaller and lighter than the PT-JR.

MultiComp > Pork Loin > MXR BOD > Musket > Mastotron > Groove Regulator > Hardwire Chorus

The MicroPOG and T1M Blend are off for now. The Memory Boy probably won't be back.

Powering off a 1Spot.
Woot. :bassist:

Tried an MXR Bass Envelope Filter today. No more GAS for that...
I almost feel bad even considering it. I feel like I've cheated on the Groove Regulator. What was I thinking? I feel so dirty!
