Several issues, actually. Below is a picture of my board. There has been a few changes pedal wise, but it will give you the general idea to what I am referring to
1) My pedal board is 40"x20". When I stomp on it there is quite a bit of give, as it isn't constructed well enough to be completely stiff. A riser like yours could provideed reinforcement.
2) Being so large, I want to elevate some of the pedals in the back. I was thinking about mounting a smaller pedalboard within this large one. With a riser like yours, no need to.
3) I want simple set up- it is a priority for me. I bought a plain aluminium box and mounted a male AC jack onto it, from which I hard wired a 6 outlet box (different from what is pictured below). I just run a regular extension chord from the Furman into the ac jack and everything is powered. It is unsightly. A riser would eliminate the box, hide all of the AC.
4) keeping #3 in mind, I want 1/4 input and output jacks (from the bass, to the amp) in which to plug in.
I think building a wood riser such as the one in your board would solve many of these issues. I thing it would also give me the ability to "neaten" my pedal board up, without having me to shorted power chords on my vintage Morleys. I may hinges the top with a piano hinge to provide easy access to the items below

It`s not finnished yet, but there`s not much to do so...

Bachu, that's a pretty awesome board. I think niftydog (maybe?) has a BF-2B too. I always kind of wonder if they're better or not than a regular BF-2, so you'll have to let us know ;-D
Are those huge red pedals just loopers? Either way, it looks very clean and thought out.
Edit: On second thought, it was probably nad that had the BF-2.

i actually have both of these... to my ears, the BF2B is quite a bit more subtle than the BF2. this makes sense, as the BF2 flanges over the entire frequency range, while the BF2B leaves your lows alone, flanging the mids and highs. similar sound with both of them, as i recall, but not as deep and crazy with the BF2B.
I'd try not to provoke the British if I were you. If you're not careful, they might challenge you to a duel... or worse yet, invite you for tea!
On a side note, dueling was made illegal in California by a law passed in the late 1800s as a response to a U.S. senator and a California Supreme Court Chief Justice who went at it after an argument in San Francisco. So I guess the British couldn't challenge me legally

Magic the gathering has become the most stupid waste of time/$$$. I remember the days where the bigist thing was 4/4 and took you like 10 turns to get her out on the field. The good ol' days

Thank you. Ryan at Pacific Custom Pedals did them to my exact specs. He also does loops for Trailor Trash. He's great to work with, although busier now that David at Loooper no longer makes them.
I've got a long way to go. This week will have a Line 6 FM-4 added and a second Sovtek Big Muff Pi. I have about a half a dozen to go.
That's my current setup. I need a bigger and deeper board.

I used to be an avid player. Got into it because of one of my ex-girlfriends early on in high school, and got out of it after a year or so. I still have two decks, though, just in case anyone's ever up for playing for old time's sake.
I've been thinking of selling them for more bass gear, though
